Hello all!

I will be downtown at the 300 Building, working on a MURAL this weekend!

You are invited to come down & watch the live painting process over the weekend, Saturday & Sunday May 9th & 10th.
You are also invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony!
Live Painting: NOT SCHEDULED, please see my facebook for live updates, or reach out if you plan to stop down! :) Feel free to stop down anytime & check on the progress.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony:
Monday May 12th @2PM
300 N. Dakota Ave
Sioux Falls SD
I will be unveiling my new mural, on the backside of the building! I am so excited to share my latest rendition of my original painting "Always Growing"... in her LARGEST form ever (12 feet tall!!!)

I am one of two artists getting the "Art Walls" kicked off (IE: the "panel" of murals is starting with myself on one side, and artist Jaden Brunz on the opposite side.... with the entire panel soon to be filled in, with incoming mural applicants).
On Monday, applications will open to the public - if you are an artist - please consider applying for a mural permit!
The Art Walls program is a partnership between the Washington Pavilion, the 300 Building & other community partners. The goal is for this to be a place for artists to share their creativity with the public safely & legally. Click on the LINK to read more about this project on the Washington Pavilion’s website.

When Maren reached out to me, I was ecstatic for the opportunity to create WHAT I WANTED on a DTSF wall. Not just any wall, but one on the same street I live on…. the same street I grew up near by… went to middle school on.
How cool is that? Not only for myself, but to be a part of the pilot program, and to set the tone for future muralists in the city. I couldn’t turn the opportunity down!
However, this project is not paid this time around. We have hopes that the program will include stipends for the artists in the future, but, in the meantime, you can support in a few ways!
Like, follow, or share on my facebook.
Check in on my events & classes on my website.
Check out my shop - I have everything from classes, art prints, stickers & paintings, to Support Local Art T-shirts & hoodies!
Use the discount code “MURAL15” at checkout for 15% off of EVERYTHING on my website! This means you can save $12 when you buy a pair of tickets to my upcoming Flowerpot Painting Class…. :)
Venmo donations are also accepted, please send donations to: @Alex-Lunstra
Thank you all!!!
Hope to see you this weekend, or Monday for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Remember, if you’re an artist; make sure to start thinking of your own mural submissions! This will open to the public, mural permits are NO COST, and the paint has been donated by Norberg Paints! :)
